Chair Yoga can offer both immense challenge and deep relaxation. Using a chair may help you to find more ease in a pose or to experience a posture that’s less accessible on the mat. Kripalu Yoga and Chair Yoga teacher Deanna Beyer offers alternatives for traditional poses, while Jurian guides the conversation and gets your questions answered . A perfect introduction for teachers and practitioners, alike.
No experience needed. Dress comfortably. Bring a standard kitchen or desk chair (ideally, one with a back and without arms or wheels) as well as a strap, blocks, blanket and cushion. Available live or via recording to those who register.
